parent involvement and the success of student with high functioning autism

parent involvement and the success of student with high functioning parent involvement is critical to the success of children with disabilities. it is also required by the law. according to the individuals with disabilities education act (idea, 2004), parents must be members of the individualized education program (iep) team decision-making process and have opportunities for meaningful, active participation (yell, 2018). the law requires that the school involves the parent in every decision concerning the child such as coming with an individualized study plan and reporting about the progress of the student. this legal mandate is not the only reason parent involvement is vital. research shows that parent involvement is vital for the success of students with special needs. research shows six types of involvement that lead to positive student outcomes.

about cassandra

academic writing is my bread and butter. i enjoy the entire process of researching, writing, and editing. i am well versed in apa, mla, and cms-nb or author date citation. i tend to be an incredibly fast researcher and writer, especially when it comes to academia, so the turn-around time would be minimal for smaller projects. i have attached several examples of my academic work, spanning across genres from philosophy to epidemiology.
